The Journey to Gracefield

Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions that a parent makes. We encourage parents and potential pupils to come and spend time with us so that they can see for themselves the unique setting of Gracefield and experience all that our school has to offer. The dedication of the teaching staff and happiness of the children is infectious and the best way to experience it, is by coming to look around and see it for yourself. We seek to operate an open, transparent and fair approach to admissions and welcome applications from all sections of society. We do not discriminate on grounds of disability, race and religion, social or cultural background. Gracefield's ethos is rooted in the Christian faith, however, we welcome applications for children of all faiths and none.

You can come and see us in action at one of our Open Mornings held during May and October to which everyone is welcome.

The Process
From enquiry, through application, to acceptance of a place, our admissions team are happy to help you. Children generally join in the Autumn Term following their fourth birthday; however we accept admissions throughout the year. The steps outline the process, although the order may vary according to individual circumstances.

If you would like to apply for a place at Gracefield School you can complete the registration form found here and return it to the school. Gracefield is a non select school, aiming to meet any individual child's needs. Once our list is full, a waiting list is operated and places are allocated in order of application.

International Families

We actively welcome families from overseas under our Tier 4 UK border agency licence.  We provide a happy, friendly and nurturing family environment whilst supporting children from overseas settle, integrate and continue their education in a new school, country and surroundings. For international applications, please contact our Business Manager, Mrs K Tanner: enquiries@gracefieldschool.co.uk. 

Terms and Conditions

When registering a child as a pupil at Gracefield School, parents/guardians undertake to comply with the rules and regulations at the School. These include, but are not limited to, the following points:

• Parents/guardians agree to pay a deposit of £100 on registration.
• Parents/guardians undertake and agree to pay each term’s fee in advance.
• Parents/guardians agree to give one full term’s notice in writing on or before the first day of the term at the end of which the child will leave the school. Parents/guardians agree, if in default of providing notice as stipulated, to pay one term’s fee in lieu of notice. 
• Parents/guardians understand that the Registration Form and Terms must be completed in order to register their child at the school, and that this document forms a legally binding contract with the Gracefield School.
